Terms of Service

1. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to Sessionora and all related services.
• "Agency" refers to a business that operates a white-labelled instance of the platform.
• "Organiser" refers to a tenant or organisation that creates and manages events.
• "Booker" refers to an individual who books sessions or events through the platform.
• "User" refers to any person who accesses or uses the platform in any capacity.
• "Content" refers to all text, images, data, and other material submitted to or displayed on the platform.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, making a booking, or otherwise using the platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have parental consent if younger), have the legal authority to agree to these terms, and accept all terms and conditions set out here.

3. Use of the Platform

You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the platform in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
• Post or transmit content that is fraudulent, misleading, harmful, or offensive
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its systems
• Use automated scripts or bots to scrape, crawl, or spam the platform
• Impersonate another user or entity
• Interfere with other users' access to or enjoyment of the platform

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Bookings & Payments

When you book a paid event, you agree to pay the stated amount. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. A booking is confirmed once payment is successfully captured. Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise. We are not responsible for any currency conversion fees charged by your bank.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Each event may have its own cancellation and refund policy set by the organiser (flexible, moderate, strict, or custom). This policy is displayed on the event page before you book. Gateway charges may or may not be deducted from refunds depending on the organiser's settings. Refunds, where applicable, are processed back to your original payment method.

The platform is not responsible for refund delays caused by payment gateways or banking institutions.

7. Organiser Obligations

Organisers are solely responsible for the events they create, including accuracy of event details, delivery of the session to bookers, and honouring their stated refund policies. The platform acts as a technology facilitator and is not a party to the agreement between organisers and bookers.

8. Subscriptions

Agencies and organisations may subscribe to a plan to access platform features. Subscription fees are billed on the cycle stated at sign-up (monthly or yearly). Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancelling a subscription retains access until the current billing period ends, after which the account transitions to expired status.

9. Intellectual Property

All platform software, design, trademarks, and original content are owned by or licensed to us. You retain ownership of content you submit (such as event descriptions and images), but you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and deliver that content for the purpose of operating the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sessionora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sessionora, its operators, employees, and licensors from any claim, loss, or expense (including legal fees) arising out of your violation of these terms or your use of the platform.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

14. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. Where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users.
